In the lush, undulating terrain of Grape County, Nashik, a farmhouse emerges from the landscape as if sculpted by the contours of the land itself. The design takes inspiration from the surrounding farms and the natural slope of the site, creating a harmonious blend between architecture and nature.
The journey into the farmhouse begins with a gentle descent down a series of entrance steps, leading from the upper level into the heart of the home. This entrance sequence allows the architecture to slowly reveal itself, with the retaining ashlar masonry stone walls flanking the path. The living and dining
areas, positioned on the upper level, are bathed in natural light. The bedrooms are situated on the lower level, oriented to the north to maintain a connection with nature. Each bedroom opens to the landscape through wooden louvered windows, allowing gentle breezes and filtered light to enter the space.
