S.S.V.P.’s Chattrapati Shivaji Public School

The residential school site was in a hot and dry climate of Dhule, traditional materials like mangalore tiles and natural stones were used to create a cooling effect. 

A courtyard based planning also made it climatically responsive as well as gave interactive spaces ideal for a school. 

Use of bright colour palette for different areas made it interesting for the school children.  

The barren land was successfully metamorphosed into lush green surroundings using suitable plantations.
